Q: QuestionWhat about agitation?Without agitation, how does this machine get the clothes clean? I am hearing the clothes at the top, do not get clean. Is this true?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Dear Customer, The washer will still agitate during the cycle, the motions are simply different as there is not a traditional agitator. Below is a link to a youtube video which will show the differences in wash motions and walk you through some of the differences found in a high-efficiency, or HE, washer when compared to an older styled model. Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the soak cycle on the 8600 and the deep water soak cycle on the 8800?
Asked by Paula.
- A:Answer Hello, Paula! The Soak cycle on our top loading washers will sense the load size and spray water into the drum, which will be evenly distributed through the laundry by a short tumbling phase. The Deep Water Soak will actually fill the drum to a set level and allow the clothes to soak naturally for an adjustable period of time before draining. Q: Questioni need some help with balance issues. it keeps unbalancing do ineed to call for a repair.i need help with a balance issues. the waser i bought at best buy keeps on not balancing like it should. it
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You need to lay out the clothes in the washer in a somewhat organized fashion to essentially prebalance the washer. Since this unit spins so fast, when it is loaded with clothes and water it can get off balance if not pre-loaded. Just don't dump all of the clothes in at once and you will be ok. We have done lots of towels, blue jeans etc that are heavy when wet but have had no problems. This should do the trick.

Q: Questionwashing capasityWhat determines if a washer is big enough to wash a comforter?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer With a 4.6 ft3 unit - this can easily do a queen comforter. We do not have a king sized bed but even if we did, we would probably go to the laundry for the industrial size units. Not sure any commercial size units could handle that size.

Q: QuestionWhen did this washer come out?I'm thinking this is a washer that recently came out and the negative reviews are saying they bought the washer 4 years ago.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This unit is a new HE washer. I had the same question. They probably group all Cabrio HE washers together as the same. This unit is 6months old at best. There are a lot of negative reviews, but I have had nothing but great things to say about this after reading the manual (as I recommend) on how to use these new machines. Please see my review online at BestBuy.com.
