I have had this problem as well in the past on an older style unit which was not even HE as well as a newer HE unit. The root cause is not the amount of water used to rinse but the amount of soap in the beginning used as the residue is a film from excess soap. Prioritize managing soap over wasting water as it is in most cases a user created problem. Cut back the amount of soap you use incrementally until the residue does not appear. I wound up using about half of my original soap amount after I started this. I have also found that the pods are too much soap for my current washer. More soap does not equal more clean the same way more water does not mean more clean. Moderation is king here.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the laundry soap dispenser is for liquid soap only. Put the powder directly in drum. I would also use deep water option if it continues to be a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is because it uses virtually no water. I too have had that issue. Don't put it in the drum though, it really doesn't help. Try the DEEP WATER option it works a little bit better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using liquid HE detergent and a white residue can be seen on my dark clothes. Am assuming same residue is on my light colored clothes just not able to see it. Not sure what the white substance is but some of it no longer appears after the clothes have been dried on some other garments the white residue remains. Extremely disappointed in my purchase. My 20 yr old washing machine did a better job of cleaning the clothes. Will be contacting Best Buy to determine if this is an issue that can be corrected or if I will be returning this machine and making a different selection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem! I bought this machine, had it a couple of weeks then went a a 10 vacation just got home today! I was going to call the maker to see if I am doing something wrong. I was thinking about returning the machine. I wondering if this is a problem when it does not have a agitator? I use HE liquid and still have soap residue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, you can try using the Pods or Liquid Laundry Detergent. That may dissolve better. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
