A:AnswerWe are sorry to hear that your washer did not completely spin your towels out. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to add another spin cycle to your cycle selection. However, you do have the option of customizing your spin speeds. You may want to consider selecting a higher speed during cycle selection. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
A:AnswerYes, I believe the reason is that the he detergent does not foam as much. With the lower volume of water used in the rinse cycle regular detergent would not rinse out.
A:AnswerThis whirlpool model comes in a glass door and a steel door. The glass lid comes with the machine that has steam cleaning, the steel lid comes with the units that do not have steam cleaning. The lid locks once the cycle begins.
A:AnswerGreat question Chefwize. We are attaching a link to the installation guide which should answer all of your questions moving forward. https://www.whirlpool.com/content/dam/global/documents/201906/InstallationInstructions-W10682737-RevA.pdf
A:AnswerHello AMarv, best practice for installations will have (based on local codes) either a direct wire or an approved Power Supply Cord with each connecting directly to the house electrical system and either setup or checked by a qualified electrician. No GFI or extension cords should be used nor surge protection devices need to be used.
A:Answerwashungmamma, we are terribly sorry to hear of your concern with your Washer. White residue on washed items at the end of the cycle that could have various causes, including but not limited to excessive detergent use, improper loading, wrong cycle, body soil – detergent reactions, wash temperature, and/or soil level selection. If white residue appears chalky and occurs mostly when powdered detergent is used or when the detergent overdose is suspected, rewash using the warmest water appropriate for the garment. Do not use additional detergent. You may view our troubleshooting link as well. https://producthelp.whirlpool.com/Troubleshooting?startid=5065 . A:AnswerHad the same LF message. My washer would partially fill then stop, not spin or drain. Repairman fixed terminal connecting blue wire to drain pump.
A:AnswerHi BBC, The LF code may indicate the unit is taking too long to fill. Please check the drain pipe does not go more than 4.5" into the standpipe. This can happen easily even after the machine has been in service for a while, we suggest checking this first. Also verify both hot and cold water supply valves are as open as possible. If the error code persists after checking, you may need to call Whirlpool at 1-800-253-1301 to discuss service options.
A:AnswerNot normal. Ours smells fantastic compared to our last one. I would say use the cleaner pods and check your water hardness..... Hope this helps.
A:Answeryes it has a pre soak cycle. not sure how long it is, but if you are using it for diapers I would use a fragrance free detergent with bleach alternative...(if your baby has sensitive skin) or add a little real bleach.
A:AnswerHi Maritzabustamante, we are sorry you are experiencing these concerns. You can try shutting power off to the Washer for a least a minute to see if that will reset the Washer and take the error code away. If it continues please call us at 800-253-1301. We are open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday 8am-4pm so we can look into this further with you. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
A:AnswerI really don't know other than some sort of marketing idea. But I do know we have only the machine a month or so far it has been is great. It is very quite and has saved a lot of propane as the spin cycle gets the laundry very dry, and it has cut the drying time on half.
A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances! All of our top load washing machines are offered with direct drive motors. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
A:Answerthe grinding sound is a normal sound that this machine makes. it's kind of loud if you are next to it. this machine makes several different noises that an agitator does not. for example the lid locking is a distinct snapping sound that can seem loud when next to it.
