“Hot-surface indicator light stuck on Hello -- The electricity went out at our house yesterday and came back on within five minutes. Ever since then, the hot-surface indicator light has been constantly on. We turned the breaker off for awhile and then back on, but the light is staying on. All other lights, clock, etc. appear to be working fine. Is there anything we can do to get this light to work properly? Thanks for your help!”

I believe you will have to call the manufacturer. Sometimes they can give you a code to reset the electronics.
