QuestionMy refrigerator is 20 years old and the filter that was in it had 8171413. This looks like it will fit but I'm not sure

- Answer I needed the same filter and looked at Different replacements that superseded that number did research on the history and it wasn't very good a lot of them did not fit and leaked . Best Buy had the original one it still works perfect I am going to continue to purchase them from Best Buy and not fool around with a generic one .

- Answer You need to use the full and exact model number of your refrigerator to locate the proper water filter. The Kenmore 795 model series used a few different styles of water filters. You want to be sure to buy the correct replacement.
