“I just had this dw installed today. The tech ran an abbreviated cycle to test it. The inside of the machine, including the bottom, are still wet/have water sitting on bottom. Will this happen on a full cycle with dry? Won't this cause mold issues?”

Jenn, we do apologize for the frustration. It is normal for there to be water in the bottom by the filter. Also, make sure you are using rinse aid. Rinse Aid will need to be used continuously for a few months depending on how often you use the Dishwasher. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
