“Does the stainless steel leave finger prints or does it have that coating that prevents them ?”

• Most stainless steel appliances do appear to "smudge" and you should only clean with mild soap and soft cloths....no paper towels or anything like alcohol, vinegar etc.

• Hi Mike, I don't think the Whirlpool appliances have that. I have a brand new Whirlpool stainless microwave with convection and it definitely shows every smudge. But the rest of my new appliances are White Ice (white , or black=Black Ice, with stainless handles). Updated looking appliances with just a touch of stainless, no worries about smudging! Bonus, Black and White Ice fridge is magnetic, stainless appliances are not :-) Hope this helps.
