• Short answer is No , you dont need Wifi . Wifi is recommended as it allows you to interact with the LR giving you notifications when away from your home of when your cat goes in , cleaning in progress or if it was interrupted , waste basket full etc . Also lets you control the LR remotely . Otherwise. you can use Bluetooth when you are near the LR to set up and enable functionalty

• You need it connected to Wi-Fi in order to use the App, which tells you the status of the Litter Robot and waste levels in the waste tray.
