It’s about as loud as any other small fridge. It gets louder and softer depending on how much load it has. When the compressor is running, it sounds like a laptop fan running high. When the compressor is off it is silent. I think that it will fit champagne bottles with no problem. For even wider bottles (like port) I take the bottom shelf out and store them on the floor of the fridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a thermoelectric unit which does not have a compressor, the only noise generated will be from the fan. The shelves are removable to allow for taller items if needed.
