Customers are saying

Customers love the 21-Bottle Wine Cooler's temperature control and dual zone features, allowing them to store red and white wines at optimal temperatures. However, some customers found the cooler's size to be a limiting factor, wishing for a larger capacity or better compatibility with various bottle sizes. A few also noted that the unit is not completely silent.

The size is perfect for my space as I wanted something tall and narrow. The other brands in the store were not attractive and too big. A great salesman at Best Buy said, "let's look at our website". We found this one and the salesman said he used to work in restaurants and Whynter is a good brand. I had never heard of it but he seemed to know what he was talking about. So I ordered it and it was to be delivered to my home free of charge in two weeks. It came within 4 days--very fast! As other reviewers have noted, it's not quiet...but I wouldn't say it's distractingly noisy. The sides are black and not stainless. And 44 and 50 degrees is cold enough...as I was initially concerned about the temperature. It's a great product overall!

Unit quality was as expected and quieter than expected. Would have given 5 stars but sliding shelves fight you a little! Overall I would buy again.

Nice cooler for the price, and cools down very quickly. Just don't like that it only fits smaller size bottles of wine and not the larger bottles.

I thought it would be a little bigger than it was, but it's OK for the money.

Impressed with the cooler so far. Looks elegant, holds a constant temperature, the wine racks slide easily and hold the bottles securely.

The shelves are difficult to pull out. I had to remove a shelf because it was too tight you also have to switch wine around to get the most in. Ie one bottle face forward next faces back.

This Cooler has proven itself. No hiccups yet. I also recommend to purchase the 4 year warranty (just in case). It is reasonable for what it costs. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because I didn't want to install the handle to keep it a flush look with the kitchen cabinets and wish it would have brought small plugs to cover up the holes where you mount the handle. Other than that we're very happy with the product.

Wine racks could be stronger but it does hold 21 bottles. Nice looking with two comparments for red and white wine. Temperature on white wine sedtion doesn't hold to set temp.

    Great First Wine Fridge

I have had this wine cooler for almost a year and I cannot complain. I spent a lot of time looking up different options, knowing I wanted a dual zone fridge, knowing I wanted thermoelectric as opposed to compression. Based on how picky I was, and on a limited budget, I found this one. I wanted the thermoelectric since compression works like an actual refrigerator and this causes vibrations, which is ultimately bad for your wine. I was worried that it wouldn't keep my whites as cool (since it is based on how hot or cool the space you set it up in) but, I keep them at a brisk 45 F with an ambient temp of anywhere from 72-80 F and it does just fine. I will say that enough condensation does build up in both compartments and I will have to wipe up the puddles that accumulate but, that's every few months or so. I wanted to have a smaller one so it wouldn't take up as much space in my kitchen and in case I moved, it would fit easier in a different house. I will say, I wish I had gotten a larger one. I can only store 6 whites at a time and in the summer, I drink a lot of white. The drawers are metal and will be difficult to pull out and push back in. The inside is just plastic so you can see where the metal has chewed away at it. It's more of just an annoyance than a huge deal to me though. I am also only capable of storing typical sized 750 mL bottles. I would buy it again, just in the next size up.

Disappointed in my purchase based on the quality of the design and its early performance. While assembly is easy, connect the door handles, the holes through the door to the handle holes do not align properly. In addition, in order to tighten the screws, you have to fight to keep from damaging the interior plastic seal near the holes. The shelves do not slide properly or smoothly one you place wine bottles on them. I certainly expected better for the price!

Installed by just screwing on the handle and plugging it in, keeps good temp. I’ve also really improved my box wine experience by removing the bottom shelf and keeping a couple of boxes down there. Even box wine is better at the right temp!

This wine chiller did not last very long and was fairly loud when it did work. The bottom thermoelectric cooler failed after 1 year. It was kept in a well ventilated area and it was cleaned monthly removing any dust build up. Asthetically it is nice but it is not a very durable product.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. It’s great looking and barely makes any noise. We do wish it held other bottles besides the traditional 750ml better, besides that it’s awesome!
