Does this keep the ice cubes cold? null

No, it makes the ice cubes and when they melt if not uses the melted water to make the cubes again continuing the cycle. It is insulated like a cooler so the ice doesn't melt too fast. It works well for me and one other person. I think it would be good for up to 4 people, but it just depends.

This item is insulated but does not keep ice frozen. The water from the melted ice is returned to the water tank to make new ice. We are happy to provide any technical support or product information. It is not a refrigerated ice bin. However as the ice melts it reuses the water back into the reservoir. The bin is decently insulated for indoor use. That being said i absolutely love this machine. It has been running nonstop on my home bar since i bought it a few months ago.

We don't leave them in the icemaker, we transfer them to the freezer.
