QuestionI have system with 4 cameras (cat5 wired). The DVR went bad and now I need a new system in my business. As long as I stay with a cat5 system, shouldn't the cameras I already have installed work? WOuld I only be charged to install 4 additional cameras?

- Answer I believe the DVR has to match the cameras installed to work properly. Get same same model that went bad. The POE cables can be reused.

- Answer Installers told me that they could not do anything over 14' by company policy. They said second-story work was completely out of the question.

QuestionWhat is the difference between security camera install SKU #5808421 for $149.99 and SKU #5809015 for $599.99? Both are for installing 8 cameras.

- Answer Hi there. Thanks for your great question. The difference between these two SKU's is that the 5808421 option is for wireless cameras and the 5809015 option is for wired cameras which take a lot longer to install. - Answer Don't know I live in North Carolina. It was pretty easy to set up the camera - the power cord is long enough to mount anywhere. You do need a strong wi-fi signal.
