- Answer Hello there! Wyze Cam OG does not have an internal battery and will need to be plugged into the wall to obtain power. The wireless feature will be the WiFi connection the camera will need to communicate with the Wyze app. Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 is an outdoor, weatherproof camera with Color Night Vision and absolutely no wires. Mount it anywhere and view it from anywhere. It has an internal battery that allows it to work without being plugged in. At this time, the Wyze Cam OG does not currently support HomeKit or HKSV. However, we truly appreciate your interest in this feature, and we're always looking for ways to improve our products. HomeKit and HKSV integration is something we are actively considering for future updates.
