Recommendation is that once you pair the camera to the base station and confirm it is working correctly that you take the camera and your mobile device to the spot where you want to monitor it and check operation then.

During storms with reported gusts of ~40-50mph and not had any issues… the cam itself is substantial in feel and the magnet is strong. It takes a good pull to get them apart intentional.
