Here’s how the Wyze Cam Pan v4 works regarding internet connectivity: Live Viewing & App Control: An internet connection is required to view the live stream and control the camera through the Wyze app. Recording Without Internet: Wyze Cam Pan v4 can continue recording to a microSD card even if the Wi-Fi drops, as long as the camera has power. However, you must schedule the recording while the camera is connected to the internet. So, while you need internet for setup and live viewing, the camera can still record locally to a microSD card without Wi-Fi if you’ve set it up in advance.
