Will this work sitting in window? null

Hi there, the camera Wyze Cam v3 will work if placed near a window. Motion detection feature works through glass, like a window or door, during the day. The camera uses changes in the pixels of the image to detect motion, so it can sense motion through glass. However, the night vision feature through glass or a window at night is not optimal. The camera emits 850nm infrared lights, which will be reflected by the window at night. The image will not be great in this situation, so it is not recommended. During the day, the infrared lights are not necessary and therefore there are no reflection issues. Also, we do have an accessory which is the Wyze Cam v3 window mount, where in you can mount your cam on a glass surface with this accessory and have a clear view free of glare or reflection. Absolutely that’s where I have mines located.

Yes it will, but might cause some reflection / glare depending on angle. Wyze sells a window adapter for the camera to avoid reflection if your intention is to record whats going on outside through the window. Keep in mind that these cameras are also outdoor cameras that can handle weather exposure, if you'd like to install them outside of the window instead.
