It records in a loop to a 32 gig micro SD card. Sometimes the SD card comes with the camera, but not typical. I’ve recoded anywhere from 48-72 hours on the card. You can record video from the playback or live mode very easily.

Using a microSD card with your camera gives you the ability to record continuous footage and recorded events directly to your local microSD card. We also have Cam Plus, which is an upgrade for Wyze Cam devices that adds Person Detection to your Complete Motion Capture videos. With this service, you'll be able to record full-length videos, receive real-time alerts when people are detected, and filter all of your video clips with people in them. Please try again later.Yes it records video or you can also install an SD card and record continuous you can also purchase cloud which I always have cloud backup for continuous also in the timeline will show you whether it's a person a vehicle a dog an animal just movement or noise it tells you freaking everything packages it's awesome
