I do not understand the term "plug". I looked up the specs and it has a pci express 16 v2.0 slot so the card should fit and work correctly. My MB is an ASUS, about 5 years old and the card is working correctly. It is at version 2.0 and the card can be used in a pci express 16 version 3.0 slot. I think the version has to do with the width of memory transfer. However, I would be more concerned about the power supply in this computer. Based on the docs I read, it is only 180 watts. The Radeon card has a 6pin adapter and cable to connect to a 4pin molex connector for additional power to operate, so it is power hungry compared to the onboard graphics. My power supply is 800 watts so not an issue for me. My best guess is that you will need about 450-500 watts power supply to keep this critter happy. Also, HP has a history of using proprietary power supply connectors, so you may not be able to upgrade it easily. It needs some research otherwise buy a new desktop.
