Great budget gaming card
||Posted .This is a great budget gaming card. I built it up with an i5-7400, 8 GB DDR2400 RAM and a 500 GB SSD. All is hooked up to a 30-inch 2560x1600 IPS display. Games I play include Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars 1/2, Diablo series, CS:GO, Borderlands 1/2. Looking to make some cash I sold my GTX 1070 and put this Radeon RX560 into the rig. I see absolutely no difference in real-world gaming experience between the two cards at 2560x1600. I know on paper and by tech specs there is no comparison between these classes of cards (and that the GTX 1070 blows it away). But all of the above games assign highest/best quality settings to both cards when I auto-detect the graphics properties. Sure, FRAPS tells me a different story when I actually watch framerates. But as far as gaming experience goes I see absolutely no difference. Actually, I prefer the colors and saturation of the AMD Radeon RX560 over the GTX 1070. Bottom line - in more demanding top tier games this card would most likely be trounced by other offerings. But if you are playing games similar to those listed above, even at 2K resolutions, the RX 560 will do perfectly well and provide you quite a satisying experience without stuttering or lag. I hope this helps someone making a decision on their purchase.

Awesome Value
||Posted .I bought this for my son’s computer to allow him to play games and I have to say for the money this was the best option I had and it was well worth it. He now plays games just as well as I can on my computer even though I have much more expensive equipment without any issues. He doesn’t get the mad frame rate but at medium high settings he’s happy and so am I.

Good entry level card - with a caveat.
||Posted .FYI - RX 560's come in two forms now - 1024 shaders and 896 shaders. AMD doesn't do a good job being clear on which card is which. This one's the 896 shader version. Read the fine print before you buy but the actual performance difference is only about 3%-10% real world. Pro's - Very good FPS performance on 720p. Ok FPS performance on 1080p. (This is not for 4k games but does support 4k video). The card runs cool and quiet. DX12 and Vulcan support. It's a vast improvement on the Intel 530 integrated graphics it's meant to replace. It's a few FPS slower than the 1024 shader version and the GTX 1050 2gb cards (varies from game to game) - but it's less expensive too. If you want 60 FPS+ 1080p gaming you should get an RX 570 or a GTX 1060 anyway. This one's attached to an older 720p TV and does very well in e-sports titles. Most AAA titles can be played at lower to mid settings. The most demanding titles will display but won't play well. It need's a dedicated power connector because of t's power requirements so check your power supply to make sure it's big enough. I needed a budget priced card to give a handed down gaming PC some punch for my son on his TV (I kept my GTX 1070 for me). This works great. If his TV (monitor) was 1080p I would have gotten a higher end card.

Good option for the $
||Posted .I had a cyberpower with an GP of only 2gb DDR3, but ironically all the other stats were killer: AMD 8350 eight core @ 3.5 GHZ w/o overclock, 16 gig ram... stock, 2 TB hard drive. So this was a solid model other than graphics card. Even with the increased prices right now for 189.99 current full price, this 4 gb DDR5 GPU made my computer run pretty much anything in "high". I was impressed because I wasn't expecting that. Later on I ended up getting an AlienWare Aurora R7 with a NVidia gforce GTX 1070 8 gig video card, as much as I like this PC... it isn't that much better than my 2 yr old CP was with the RX 560. The Alien Ware is much quieter, and obviously runs a little smoother.... But for people with a relatively limited budget and an already decent rig, this video card will allow you to play any current game. at the time of this review. Maybe not in High, but at least in medium for the full 60 fps. For example I could put COD black ops 3 in HIGH accross the board without much stuttering, didn't try GTA 5

Fantastic budget video card!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I was looking to re-build the guts of my aging PC with a new motherboard, CPU and video card. I needed something that could pump out to a 4K monitor but nothing costing a crazy amount of money. I play some PC games, but nothing that intense, so this seemed perfect. For my needs it is. I can play 4K videos without it choking, gaming on it does great, but you're not going to play many games at max quality with this card. Due to it only having a single fan, it's not loud at all. In fact, it's absolutely silent at times because the fan will turn on only when absolutely necessary, which is only when you're viewing videos or playing games. Super-simple to install and setup. Fits an ATX case with no problem. If you need a 4K-capable graphics card, but don't want to break the bank, this is for you.

Great card for the price
||Posted .Mind you, this is not a "premium" graphics card, but to me and my boys it is a GREAT investment. Previous card was an NVidia GeForce 970 and this card outperforms it. For example, in an older game, Just Cause 3, the framerates at 1080p jumped from 45-50 to an average of 110. This is but one small example. The fans are much quieter and overall the card runs much cooler. According to HWMonitor Pro, on Idle it runs about 43 Celsius and the highest I've seen under load is about 90 celsius. I had bought a GeForce 1050 Ti, but I believe this outperforms that card as well. Definitely worth the money if you're looking to upgrade your rig. The system specs are as follows: i7-4400 16GB DDR3 256GB SSD 1TB 7200 RPM HDD AMD XFX RX560 450 watt power supply Windows 10 Pro

"OK" performance for budget gaming
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Monitor being used: Acer HA230, 23in, 1080 res monitor, 4ms Resp Time Destiny = FPS locked at 30fps and it's passible. Struggles at times at the tower. COD Warzone = I locked it at 30fps with basically everything set to low/med-low and its stable with no major hiccups during actual game play. Sea of Thieves = Locked at 30fps cause it'd try to hit 45, but it stuttered. If you have to get it due to budget, get it. Otherwise if you expand your budget just a little, the 570 would be a better bet.

Q: QuestionI just got this card for my sons pc. It has a third generation intel i5 processor. I believe it is a legacy bios and not uefc. Will this card work? The gentleman at Best Buy said it would but I saw a reviewer here say it doesn’t. Any advice on this?
Asked by Ingry.
- A:Answer If you have an i5 intel I would say that you would be safe purchasing this. Legacy BIOS is ok, I run legacy BIOS on mine works like a charm. Main thing is does the system support PCIExpress. If yes than this is for you and your son :)

Q: QuestionMy HP Pavilian p7-1517c PC has an AMD A10-5700 series processor with 12 GB of ram and presently has an AMD Radeon HD 7660D graphics card and I want to upgrade it . Will this card work in my machine or do I need to make other upgrades?
Asked by Chuck.
- A:Answer The card should work. It uses a PCI Express 3.0 interface which is backwards compatible with your system which has a PCI Express 2.0. I am using this card in an older system and the card is doing fine so far. If you go to google and type in "compare AMD Radeon HD 7660D and AMD Radeon RX560" and search you will see a link for gpu dot benchmarks dot com ... this will compare your two cards. This card blows the card in your machine out of the water. Be sure to download the latest drivers from AMD when you install the card.

Asked by KQ.
- A:Answer As your computer seems to be fairly new, this should work just fine. As long as your Motherboard can use PCI type cards it will work. This GPU uses PCI 3.0 which is one of the more current stats for GPU's. It had enough memory to run WIN10 64bit as well. Good Luck!
