The Radeon VII benchmarks between the Nvidia RTX 2070 and 2080 for gaming. 1080p isn't the target resolution for this card, but 1440p would be the sweet spot. The Radeon VII is capable of 4k gaming (maybe even 8k, if that's a thing yet), but may not make 60 fps with all graphics settings maxed. This will of course depend on the game and the rest of the system (CPU/RAM, etc.). The 16GB HBM2 should do wonders for 4k/8k content creation (I haven't yet tested this). However, this GPU wasn't designed with any Ray Tracing capability, so if you need that, you may want to look elsewhere. That's not to say that AMD won't support it through their driver's at a later date like Nvidia did with their 10 series cards (even though there was a severe performance penalty when enabled to the 10 series cards). As for motherboard fitment, there shouldn't be any issues fitting the GPU to the PCI-E slot on the B450 Tomahawk motherboard (standard PCI-E spec). The fitment issue would be with the computer case itself. The Radeon VII is 280mm long, with the actual dimensions being H/W 11.02" x 4.92" (at least for the XFX version of the card, other manufacture's specs/measurements may differ). There are plenty of reviews out there if you need further information in regards to gaming performance. Just search for: Radeon VII for gaming? ...and go from there. :) I hope this helps answer your questions. Thank you.
