• All PCIe 4.0 cards will work with PCIe 3.0 slots. On higher end cards you will be bottlenecked by the interface - I don't think that would come into play with a lower end card such as this one. Really just a difference of bandwidth.

• No, it’s a PCIe Gen 4x4. It will work with 3.0 but you will see a noticeable drop in performance.

• It will work with a PCIe 3.0 interface. Just remember that it only uses 4 lanes, so throughput will be halved compared to 4.0. That is sufficient for playing videos, running most applications, etc. I use mine in a 3.0 interface and it drives two 4K monitors without problems, but I don't play games with it.
