- Answer You can set it to lock automatically after 30 seconds or a minute, something like that. You can also easily change the setting if you don’t like it.

- Answer No, this model does not come with a Yale Smart Module and does not work with any hubs or smart home systems, including LiftMaster. This is a touchscreen keypad lock that allows you to lock and unlock your home without the hassle of keys using the keypad.

QuestionCan it be used outside front door? I live in Chicago which gets very cold in winter.

- Answer Yes! It is specifically designed for exterior doors. As long as the interior side of the lock is inside the home, the outside (with the keypad) can withstand very cold, or very hot temperatures. It's been tested to withstand -40 degrees F to 120 degrees F.

- Answer I personally don't think you need extra keys. I have had mine for 2 years and never once used the key. I also have only changed the batteries once. It is a great product for keyless entey to the house

- Answer The standard lock [without the additional WIFI chip] will store 25 different codes. That would be the "master" and 24 additional.

- Answer For this model, there is no app. It's a keypad only lock so you would program codes (both for yourself and for guests) via the keypad menu. For Yale Assure Locks with Wi-Fi, you do all of this from the Yale Access app.
