Q: QuestionWill this receiver be compatible with Klipsch RP-600M speakers for front speakers. Spec sheet shows 100 watts continuous/ 400 watts peak power handling. Also will be using Klipsch R-51M speakers for surround. Spec sheet shows 85 watts cont. / 340 w peak.

Q: Questioncan I use Yamaha 5 ohm speakers with this receiver I have RX-V383 receiver now ,sub woofer out put went, I was going to upgrade ?

• A:Answer Yamaha shows a minimum ohm load of 6 ohms. I'm running 6 ohm speakers and there is power to spare. I would check with the manufacturer though because not only would the Amp be pushing 150 W per channel or more at 5 ohms it may very well get hot.

• A:Answer Having an amp with higher watts will make the sound quality better than having lower watt amp. Its all in the ears. Crank it up but don's crank it up high enough to damage the speakers. Bose are made pretty well so I do not think you will have a problem unless you are clipping them out.

I am not sure about I heart radio and I have not tried Pandora but I am almost positive that it will play Pandora. Although you did not ask I am really pleased with my purchase. • A:Answer Pretty sure you can it has a transmitter, the older versions only have a receiver ( to play music from your phone) , I had the 481 I believe, gave it to my dad cuse his died, got this one and noticed it's an upgrade concerning Bluetooth capabilities.

• A:Answer Yes check the impedance of the speakers, usually printed on the speaker magnet or basket. Set the receiver to the correct impedance setting and should work as a 5.0 setup.
