“How do you connect the subwoofer? Current receiver will not emit sound even though all other functions work ,display etc. My current sub connects just like all 5 other speakers...do not see a place to connect wires on back of this receiver for sub?”

I understand. The output is a single outlet located below the four HDMI inputs. It uses a single connection cable, not speaker wire connections. You may need a newer subwoofer with this type of connection option. Hope this helps. JP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This unit only runs a self powered subwoofer. It connects with one AV cable or Bluetooth. You would need a crossover that connected to the front 2 speaker inputs and the crossover would have 3 outputs(FR..FL...SUB). There isn’t too much digital equipment that run “non-powered subwoofers anymore. If your sub is a self powered sub... then you would just need a “Mono AV” to “speaker wire” adapter. Either way.. you can get both styles cheap from amazon. Not sure if bestbuy carries either style.
