“I have five speakers that are 8 ohm, 100w max input and a powered subwoofer with RCA input. How well will these work with this receiver. What would be my watts per channel at the 8 ohms? These are very good speakers and I want to use them.”

This receiver only has a rated output at 8ohms of 70 watts. The specifications on here for 145 are max at 6ohms on 1ch. If anyone needs more clarification on the true specs, look up the specs of this model on Yamaha's website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your speakers and subwoofer will work just fine until you reach the higher outputs. The audio will begin to sound distorted as this receiver has a higher capable output than the speaker being connected. Calculating the exact watts per channel is not my forte’, maybe there is another here better with those calculations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That setup will work fine, it's only 125 watts max @8ohms and u less your space is huge you'll never push they system to max output anyway.
