Tracy, this will depend on what you want to accomplish. Short answer here is "Yes" if you want to extend the sound to another location such as a patio. To do this, simply wire the remote speakers to the amp at the front speaker terminals. Suggest you put an on/off switch in that circuit though unless you don't care about broadcasting to the patio at all times when the inside speakers are operating. If you're wanting 7 channel response, then the answer to your question is "no". It's a 5 channel surround system. Hope this helps.
