This unit is really not designed for that purpose. You would be wasting your money on it. They actually make karokee machines.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried this with an older Aventage model and a Vocopro Karakoe player. I find when using the mics, they can actually do damage to good speakers - maximum wattage and overpowering the speakers at peaks can be a real problem (lots of popping, crackling and ear deafening noises, including feedback if the mics aren't aimed properly away from the speakers - kids don't care). I don't suggest it unless you keep the volume levels low and watch over younger kids like a hawk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dnt think u can use it as stand alone Karaoke system. You would need mics, Karaoke speakers and Mixer. However, u can connect the karaoke speakers to the receiver but you will still need a mixer to connect mics and output from mixer would be plugged in to the receiver.
