“I have a 25 plus year old Klipsch speakers. I don't know what model but they have a natural wood cabinet and they weigh a ton. I don't know what power I may need. I also need a phono jack.Please advise”

This receiver should be able to power your Klipsch speakers. There is not a phono input, so you will need to purchase a magnetic phono cartridge preamplifier and plug it into an auxiliary input. You can find the preamplifiers on Amazon.
