• Shouldn’t be a problem. I believe I used mine for up to 8 hours on a brisket and also pork shoulder. Mine stopped connecting to thermometer after 3 cooking sessions. Trouble shooting help from Yummly didn’t fix the connection problem. Don’t waste your money on this device.

• Have done the same and never had it even get to half charge. No issue with long cook times.
