Unfortunately it doesn’t, you have a button to engage the motors and to kill them

Please try again later.No auto take off but put the switch on Turtle mode and pull the control back and let go of the control at 6 feet off the ground it will hover by itself You can play with forward backward contro move the forward backward control right and left and you will see how agile and easy it is to fly move your power control right or left and the drone will go around to right or the left very slow. I have had it up 100 feet and 700 hundred feet out in front of me and the flip the home switch and it comes right back and will land with in about 10 feet from me. Its a great drone have fun with it
