You must have the wrong one then. Be sure you have the surface pro 3 and not just the surface 3. There is a difference. If you are sure everything is right call zagg and they will send a new one complimentary and as you to send the old one back when it gets there. These are covered for life.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't cut anything. They should be cut to size. I use to be an employee at best buy and I installed these things a bunch of times. I would exchange for a different one if it doesn't fit right.

Are u sure u bought the right one as the one I bought designated for the surface pro 3 fit perfectly over the screen with no overhang. If you are sure you got the right one...contact zagg as they will certainly help you. I don't recommend cutting it

They put it on right and if there are any bubbles they put a new Zagg on until it's right!! Hope this helps!
