What type of material the case is made of? null

The case around the actual Ipad is hard plastic, the sleeve is a composite material feels like a blend of rubber and thick plastic. The base of the keyboard and the keys are hard plastic and are also wrapped in the composite material. (The keys are not wrapped and have a nice mild indentation for your fingers resulting in pretty good ergonomics for a tablet sized keyboard.
