Q: QuestionWill this work on an iPad Pro 12.9 1st generation

• A:Answer Absolutely not. I made the mistake of purchasing this keyboard for my 1st generation ipad pro, drove 25 miles each way to pick it up and found out that it's only compatible with 3rd generation. Stupid me, it says so right on the box. Best Buy needs to make this clear in the advertisement as it says nothing about what ipad pros it's compatible with then the FAQ answers state that it is compatible with 1st generation devices. There's a couple of hours I'll never get back.

• A:Answer Given that the 2020 version has a camera that is square with multiple lenses, I do not KNOW, but also do not BELIEVE that this will work with the 4th generation (2020 version) iPad Pro 12.9 See the attached photo of the camera lens area for Gen 4 and Gen 3 from the Apple website and compare with the slot available with this folio.
