Will this work on an iPad Pro 12.9 1st generation null

Absolutely not. I made the mistake of purchasing this keyboard for my 1st generation ipad pro, drove 25 miles each way to pick it up and found out that it's only compatible with 3rd generation. Stupid me, it says so right on the box. Best Buy needs to make this clear in the advertisement as it says nothing about what ipad pros it's compatible with then the FAQ answers state that it is compatible with 1st generation devices. There's a couple of hours I'll never get back.

I believe that both my husband and i have the 12.9 1st generation iPad and it works well with both pads. We loved how it holds our iPads and that we can pull down the flap in the back to set the pad upright without having to hold it all the time. This rugged book holder works great and we love it.
