But have you tried charging the keyboard? also, have you tried reconnecting it via Bluetooth on the iPad? You can try having the iPad forget the device, and reconnect it again. see if that helps. Also, this may sound obvious, but make sure that the little button on the right side is switched so that it shows green i believe... I don't have the cover with me I stopped using it after my iPad fell out of it. due to design flaws of the cover. Hope that helped.

I am not a heavy user, so this keyboard case should NOT be falling apart, but it is. I have the WORST time trying to use it because it won't stay connected to my ipad's bluetooth. It's cute and all, but I wish I hadn't wasted my money on it.
