• Yes on 5D I answered that question wrong it will work with the Canon 5D and a small lens with a firmware update and the motor placed on high to hold the weight

• No it will not work with the Canon 5D mark 5 that camera is too large for the gumball it's made for mirrorless cameras similar to Sony A6600 size camera with a small lens
