Q: QuestionI see the height is 50". We want a wooden range hood to go above our island and we only have 95" ceilings. Would this be able to be trimmed down to a shorter length, somewhere between 24 and 30", so that it would fit above our island better?

• A:Answer Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. The chimney can be cut down if your ceiling is lower than the standard chimney allows. We don't cut the chimney before shipping but we reccomend having the a professional contractor cut it for the best possible cut. Thank you.
