• A:Answer Hello Steve! Thank you for reaching out to us. This range hood base measures 6 inches in height, with 2 telescoping chimney pieces each measuring 19 inches in height. This range hood is compatible with 7.5-9.5 ft ceilings, with the range hood being installed at least 30-36 inches above the cooking surface.
