The DVR/NVR comes with a 1TB hard drive. You can set the recording to "intelligent mode" which will record 5 frames per second until it senses motion, which then it will boost up to 24 frames per second. In intelligent mode, on average, you should get around 4 weeks before the hard drive is full and starts recording over itself. That time will be less if its not set in intelligent mode.
