Yes, but you have to have wifi. I would not recommend this unit as i have problems keeping it online, it's not worth the time of always having to reboot it. Also with not having a doorbell you will have to take it down to recharge it

Please try again later.you need to have the doorbell button wiring. if you do not have that, zmodo has other options that are out on the market currently or will be out on the market sometime this year. Look at some of the products Zmodo introduced at CES this year by doing an internet search and/or look at the youtube videos.
