The capacity listed for all rice cookers are the maximum capacity for cooking raw short grain white rice, measured in the rice measuring cup (approximately 3/4 US standard cup). The maximum capacity for cooking other types of rice (such as brown rice or long grain rice) will differ. • A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. For the NS-LGC05 rice cooker, the unit will generally take approximately 90-100 minutes to complete cooking rice on the regular Brown Rice setting (not GABA). Please be advised the cooking times do include a soaking, cooking, and steaming process that will automatically be performed by the rice cooker, and may vary depending on factors such as the amount of rice being cooked, water temperature, and ambient room temperature.
