A Great Movie
|Posted .I love this movie. It has been one of my favorite movies for many years, since it first came out. I am 48 years old and have watched FIRST BLOOD more times than I can remember. I would recommend this wonderful movie to anyone and everyone.

Great Film and commentary mode
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. It is a great film. I first watched this probably on cable tv and a 13" TV. Saw it several times then. Then DVD and Blu-ray. This version is better than the standard Blu-ray and not just because I have an LG Oled TV. This film is widely acknowledged as the best in the Rambo series and probably Stallone's best film. Viewing the film with commentary for any fans of the film is an absolute must. What I didn't realize before is the amount of effort and craziness in making this film. Many crazy scenes that people including Stallone got injured making. Another actor turned down the role since what the director wanted was not an easy acting role at all. It wasn't exactly just the stunt people taking all of the risks. Stallone in this film participated in a lot of the crazy stunts.

Vintage Film!
|Posted .First time watching this film ever, and I'm glad I watched it in 4K. Yes it has some film grain in some scenes, but that's not a bad thing! I got it for $8 on Black Friday and love it! Great film overall!

Rambo 4K UHD-BR
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. The welcomed difference that I noticed in the 4K UHD (as opposed to the standard Blu-Ray) was the color timing or HDR. To me, it looks slightly more realistic. There is appreciated color and clarity enhancement, especially the mountains shot when Rambo is arriving into town. However, there are still instances in the movie when he is on the run or hiding where the picture looks soft. Thankfully, the stuntman on the bike was kept (unlike Arnold S. on the bike in Terminator 2: Judgment Day).

Great Movie! Great Picture Quality!
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Nearly 40 years later this movie still holds up against the test of time! Great picture quality on the 4k UHD disc. I was very impressed by how good this looked in comparison to my old Blu Ray copy.

Still good
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Loved this movie a million years ago when it came out and I was sooo young then!! 4K turns it up a notch but watch it for what it was meant for, mindless entertainment.

This original is still the best
|Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendFirst movie in the original Rambo trilogy. Has some very good action however a rather ridiculous ending. Still a classic imo and well worth a pickup. Shooting location also makes it rather realistic.
