Where do I return my product?

If you purchased a product from a partner website and you selected a Best Buy in-store pickup, it can be returned to a Best Buy store; any Best Buy store will accept your return.

Please note that some returns may qualify to be returned via shipping to a Best Buy Returns Center. See the partner-specific sections below to validate if a shipping return to OEM is accepted. 

How much money will I get back?

The original purchase price (including tax), as provided on the purchase email confirmation, will be refunded to the payment method that was used for the original purchase. If you are returning only part of a bundled package or your item was discounted, adjustments will be made accordingly. 

Your return receipt from Best Buy will acknowledge the return but will not include financial information. The partner will send you an email with details about your refund once the in-store return is complete. 

Can I return bundled, discounted or free items?

If you received a discount or obtained a free item by purchasing multiple items together, you will lose that benefit if you do not return all the items that were purchased. This can apply to bundled and buy one, get one (BOGO) free items.

How long will it take to get a refund? In what form will I receive it?

For all in-store returns, a refund should be provided to you by the partner within 7–10 business days from the date the return was accepted. If there is a problem with the refund, you will receive an email from the partner with additional details. You can check your order status via the partner’s website under purchase or order history.

Do products need to be returned in good condition?

Items must be returned in like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major components may be denied a return. Apparel must not be worn or laundered, and the original tags must be attached for us to accept a return.

Can I price match at a Best Buy store?

No. Best Buy does not handle price-match requests for purchases from partner stores.

Can I exchange my item in the store?

In-store exchanges are not available. Best Buy offers returns through which a monetary credit will be issued to the original payment method.

Do special holiday return policies apply to my purchase?

If the partner's website indicates a special holiday return period, Best Buy will honor that return policy.

Clicks.tech purchases

How long do I have to return an item?

Returns terms for purchases from Clicks.tech are located on the partner’s website. In general, returns can be made up to 30 days from the time you picked up your product at a Best Buy store.

Where do I return my product?

If you purchased a product from Clicks.tech and you selected a Best Buy in-store pickup, it can be returned to a Best Buy store. Any Best Buy store will accept your return. The product can also be returned via the return process initiated on the Clicks.tech returns portal.

How long do I have to return an item?

Returns terms for purchases from Samsung are located on the partner’s website. In general, returns can be made up to 15 days from the time you picked up your product at a Best Buy store.

If an alternative return policy applies to your return because of the product category, payment method or terms, you will be asked to show email confirmation of the applicable return policy. In cases where an extended partner return policy applies, Best Buy will honor that policy.

Where do I return my product?

If you purchased a product from Samsung.com and you selected a Best Buy in-store pickup, it must be returned to a Best Buy store; any Best Buy store will accept your return.

If you purchased a product from Samsung.com and it was shipped to you from Best Buy, it may be returned to a Best Buy store or shipped back to the Best Buy Returns Center. Please go to your order history at Samsung.com to initiate your return to determine if your order qualifies for a shipping label.   

Please note that returns are not accepted directly to Samsung, nor are they available at Samsung Experience Stores.

How are returns handled for carrier-activated devices?

The normal return policy duration applies to carrier-activated devices. However, if you receive a free promotional gift with your new device, you’ll have to return the gift as well as the device in order for your return and refund to be processed.

Returning your device to Best Buy will not terminate your carrier service plan, even if the activation was made through Samsung. If you activated this device with a carrier, please note that you are still responsible for all carrier contracts and related payments associated with this returned device. Please contact your carrier to determine your responsibilities and options.

Don’t forget to perform a factory reset on your device before you return it. This will wipe all personal information from your device.

What happens if I send in my trade-in device and then return my new device?

Please note that if you return your new Samsung device after you send in your old device, you will not receive a refund or any other value for the trade-in device credit that was deducted from the purchase price of your new Samsung device. In addition, it is not possible to recover possession of your old trade-in device after a new device return.
