I purchased the Viper for my 2016 Subaru Forester but once I got to my actual appointment a member of the geek squad recommended the Compustar for my vehicle. It’s been a great experience! I live in a apartment and I can literal start my car from my bedroom that’s over 1500ft plus. The staff was very professional and very knowledgeable. Thank you Shadowlake BestBuy staff. I have beed using this remote started more than 3 years and simply loved it. and the Geek squad service is very responsive.

My main complaint is that sometimes it gets out of range with obstacles. Works great in a empty parking lot. However, I work in a area that uses a parking ramp. I have to either park on the top or edge facing my work or it will not connect. I was told for an extra $100 I could upgrade to the mile. When does the hemorrhaging stop? Anyway, it is great for house to garage or restaurant to car.

Works great - a warm car and no window scraping! Technicians installed in a reasonable amount of time and explained operation in detail and providing tips. This is the second one they have installed in my vehicles.

I love this automatic starter. It’s so easy to use and I could never go back to not having one.

Remote Start on manual transmission vehicle is tricky however my previous and current Viper systems have never failed me. The only difference that I noticed on the new system is the sequence to enable future remote start. Now if I want to use remote start on my next drive, I have shut down the car in a specific sequence whereas I never had to do it with the old system. It is inconvenient at best however not a dealbreaker for me.

Product works exactly like it should. Install was quick and easy. They did a great job with the install.

Works great very helpful on cold weather. Unfortunately the car works just for 15 minutes but still good.

Got this for the wife as a xmas present. Living in the north west the winter mornings are pretty cold. She is now able to start the car from inside the house and defrost the windows and have a nice warm cozy car when she gets in. Had it installed by Best Buy techs. Took 2 hours. Excellent job and professional.

The remote start is great. But the pit stop mode is awesome! You can leave your car running while locked to go grab something from the house or store real quick. Has a smart sequence before remote start can even be activated on a MT vehicle so don't worry about pressing a button while your parked car is in gear and watching it roll away. You can't activate remote start when in gear unless it got in gear while the car is locked.

Easy understanding of process, works with current key fob as well as provided key fob. Only negative is the app is hard to navigate in the beginning

Wife works late into the night and this thing has been a life saver for her. Starts her car from her office about 10 min before she leaves. Highly recommend for anyone that doesn't have a remote start already.

Purchased a brand new 2018 Toyota Camry SE Push to start, works beautifully. OEM remote works with 3x lock button start. Also. purchased a 2 way one button remote which was paired to the DS4. Bluetooth range isn't far, only for nearby startups. Works beautifully!

I was looking for a remote starter and after speaking with the tech at the store we settled on this one... extremely happy with our purchase! We got the starter installed at BestBuy in a timely manner. The tech was done earlier than scheduled and explained the proper use of the starter. Afterwards we downloaded the Viper app and after a little self learning we paired it and now not only do we have the key starter fob but we can also use the app to start the vehicle. Starter works great and we have no complaints.

Have been very pleased with the remote start. I was surprised that after a few days it quit starting. I went in to see Scotty, the technician, and he handled everything quickly and even showed me how to set up the phone app for remote starter system. As it turned out it was just an adjustment for the tach and nothing wrong with the system. As always the service was excellent and Scotty was very helpful.

Had this installed in my sons 3008 Chevy impala. It works great, easy to use. My son has no problems with it.
