Bought this to use during cold weather to warm up the car prior to entry. It works well, and having the remote start function on the cell phone is a nice touch. The only drawback is you must be within about 30 feet (and GPS turned on your cell phone) for it to work. I would like to start the vehicle from much farther away, but it will have to do,

love this item. best buy installed in and the process was easy. there was a long wait time between buying the product and the first available appointment that worked for me, but it is worth the wait.

The installer was excellent and the unit works well. The Fob is quite humble almost necessitating upgrading. And the upgrade Fobs are all pricy.

I have a manual transmission so I need to complete several steps to “set up” my vehicle to use remote start for the next morning. Once I got used to it, it wasn’t too bad. But if you forget to do these steps prior to exiting your vehicle, no remote start for you! Otherwise, having the feature on the phone is nice.

My Viper remote start system is 2yrs old now and we have had no problems at all. The best part about buying from BestBuy is the warrentee and free installation. And they have excellent install and service techs that are very knowledgable. They will gladly answer any questions you may have regardless of how ong ago you purchased your product. My wife and I are very happy with our pushase!

Hands down the best Christmas gift. Everything works as it should, the guys at the store installed it for me and I could not be happier with it. I will be getting one put in my husbands truck as well.

Works great. Has a great distance and is very reliable. My only issue is I am not a big fan of the 1 button remote. I like the multi button remotes. Watch for these to be on sale in the Deal Of The Day starting in October. You can get them, with installation, for a very good price.

So far the starter has worked as advertised. The one negative is the Bluetooth range. It is awful. Viper claims “up to 150’”. It doesn’t come close to that. Maybe 20 ft at best. Very disappointing. I’ll probably add the SmartStart option later. Maybe that’s why they made to Bluetooth so bad. To sell more add ons. Other than that, should work as expected.

Works great with the fob. Not always so well with the app.
