This car accessory makes my life easier.....and more comfortable on cold days! It is very nice to jump into a nice warm car, especially when your car sits out. It starts up easily. I have to remember to leave everything on in the car so the windows can defrost.... It is a little touchy & if I press the lock button twice it sometimes restarts the car & I have to turn it off.

I got this for the cold winter months. It has been a game changer. It does what I need it to do. I got this particular one for the app starting feature. Sadly that part of it doesn’t work. You basically have to be within 20 feet to use the app.

Purchased for my daughter as holiday present. Installers in Braintree, MA were GREAT. They did advise me that they had issues with this one drawing off the battery due to the bluetooth capability. My daughter was not going to use her phone to start car so replaced with non-bluetooth enabled one. She loves that one. Unit may be good but in cold New England weather did not want her dealing with a dead battery searching for bluetooth signal she will never use.

Have used Viper on my other car. Got this Black Friday on special on line. Had an issue with a part being on back order but once it came in got the unit installed quickly and it works great. Wish it was a 2 way remote included but so far no issues with the unit starting from a distance.

Long range works great. Also added extender from Amazon to make sure it works through building walls, recommended by installer from another BB location. Only problem we have had is we think installer wired something wrong b/c doors are unlocked when it starts...so still need to go back to get this fixed. Car installed on was 2009 Acura. Purchased remote start for my new vehicle & this device gets the Job done. 3 hour Installment wait time through Geek Squad. I'm Satisfied with results. I would reccomend better remote fob than stock Fob that comes with packaging due to responsiveness.

Install came with product, In happy to have the remote install, the blinking blue light is annoying, but it can be covered up with some black electric tape. Distance is short so invest in the better remote or GPS function add on so you can use your phone.

When I bought this online it said Geek squad installation. The installation was included and it didn’t cost anything extra. This remote start is great and you can even start it with a smart phone. Best deal from Best Buy.

This is the fourth Viper car starter that I have purchased from Best Buy. Two for my daughter for her two cars and two for my son-in-law, one for his old car and a new one, which will be a Christmas gift, for his new car. The Best Buy installers have done great work in the past and I am sure that they will do the same for my son-in-law. He already has an appointment.

I bought this for my teenage son’s car, thinking that he’d be excited about being able to start his car from his phone, however, the phone app doesn’t allow for a good range of distance. The remote that comes with it works much better.
