The viper is an excellent product works great . I am very satisfied with the product as well as with the installation the installer was super nice. And he got done with the installation super fast. That is why i hive thos product a 5 star.

Definitely worth the price I got it on Black Friday does come with free install so I had Best Buy do it and they know what they are doing I haven’t had any issues with it, installed on my 02 Silverado diesel good for those winter days

It's a great product, especially at the Black Friday price of $199. The mobile app is a nice feature but the 150 feet range listed isn't even close. My guess is 50-80 feet. The key fob works good, but is only a 1-way, meaning you don't get noticed of a successful start. Also, the range is fairly limited when trying to remote start while in a certain buildings. I am considering upgrading the 7616v (1-way, 1/2 mile range) that came with this to the 7816v (2-way, 1 mile range) which I heard is amazing. Only problem is, that upgrade sets you back an additional $79. It's worth the buy for the price and the Best Buy installers are very professional and do an outstanding job.

Great remote starter. Simple and straightforward to use. I would definitely recommend buying it from BestBuy for the free installation. I shopped around and other shops were selling it for more and charging $100 to $200 for installation

This was a Christmas gift for my son in New Hampshire he absolutely loves it it was the best movie I spent all year I highly recommend it he put it on a 2023 Toyota Camry and it works flawlessly through the walls and a great distance I highly recommend this and to get it installed at Best buy that was painless and everything was online

Really love this product, is working perfectly in a 2016 honda crv, i definitely recommend this product to anyone, is really helpful in the cold weather to keep your vehicle warm, and the best thing is the installation that best buy provides, definitely worth it.

The remote starter itself works great. But there were issues with the installation. They broke the sill piece, snapped the clips right off. They also did not zip tie the control box up under the dashboard. It kept falling out at my feet. My son had to drill two holes in the plastic and zip tie it up for me. Then I had to fight with Best Buy for a month because i was charged installation which was supposed to be included. Now i need to see if they are going to cover the piece thatt hey broke.

Simple to use and very efficient. With two clicks on the remote, I can start my car and be nice and warm ( winter season). If you are looking for a simple and effective remote car starter….this is it. As a mother of a toddler, I can say this statter is amazing. I highly recommend it.

Great product - my wife doesn't even have to leave the bedroom in the back of the house to start her car. This is very helpful on these cold winter mornings.

I think this is pretty good. That’s all I can say. I had another brand put in my other car because this wasn’t comparable and for the money it (competitor) seems to have more options for push button start. Viper has to shut off and be restarted. The other brand has a takeover. Not a huge deal but if I would have known? Other than that it works great. Best Buy did a great job of installing it. I had a small issue and they fixed it right away. I bought a two way remote to replace the one that cane with it and I’m very happy I did. It works great too and I can tell thy it is running. The app and Bluetooth functionality is awful. Not good at all. Do not get this thinking that will be cool or that you will be using it because you can’t unless you are right by the car. I knew this going in or I would have been disappointed. It does have an Apple Watch app and it’s cool to show people, but it’s not very useable at all. Overall for the price I think this is a good choice and I have always liked Viper. I feel like you know it will last. Good job!

My new car did not have remote start so i did my research and decided on this device. I am not disappointed at all! Convenient and easy to use! I would definitely recommend to anyone. And the installation was awesome!

Added this Viper remote start to a new car. Great to have in the cold Chicago weather. Had a battery issue right at first but that seems to be resolved. Very easy to use and makes going out in the cold and snow much better.

The install was super fast. The techs answered all of my questions without any problems and they were able to ease my mind about any electrical problems that may arise. Overall my device works great and the service and attention at Best Buy was stellar!

The product itself is great though not intuitive to use. Once you get used to the click order though it does what you want it to without fail.

I purchased three of these remote starts for my kids for Christmas. My issues aren't with the remote start itself but the service performed by Best Buy. Car #1 Best Buy messed up the key fob and the car had to be taken to the dealership to get it fixed. Car #2 - installation went well and product works as it should. Car #3 - was on hold on the phone so long while sitting in the Best Buy parking lot trying to find out where I go with the car that the 15 minute time window elasped and Best Buy canceled the appointment. Then went inside and was told the appointment would have to be resechedule and then was told the remote purchased wasn't compatible with a Kia Optima and that it would be another $100 for a compatible one. When purchsing the original remote we used the guide in the Best Buy app and it said the Kia Optima was compatible. Ended up speaking to the store Manager and he adjusted the additional cost to $2.50 and set a new appointment. These are not the issues you want to encounter when you take a day off of work to get this done.

Bought the Viper once, was replace for free due to draining my battery (so we think) The new one, thankfully, with total tech, saved a lot of money, and time, was installed three months ago (it’s been a mild winter.). I did have to buy a new battery earlier in the year to be sure I did not get stuck after an ice storm last winter. So far, so good… thank you very much, the guys were great and helpful and had empathy for me which was very kind. Hope it never happens again! WMN

1st off, had no idea Best Buy had this offer of not only selling remote car starts, but installing them! It's been 3 months and so far so good! Works great!

Works good. Affordable able price. Nice quality. Good features. Only the negative is, it doesn’t have a long range.
