There’s a few things I very much dislike about this, first being that it needed a 70$ harness. Bestbuy worked with me on price for that (free) as I was going to just return it. Secondly there is a blue led that constantly flashes on the window mounted antenna. Very annoying and I don’t want it draining my battery (even if it is a tiny bit). Other than that it does work good, having installed it on my 2011 4Runner. I do like I can use my existing key with the built in arm disarm to start and turn off the vehicle. (Also my smartphone). This makes it so I don’t have to carry the very cheap fob to start it.

I love this remote starter. My vehicle is always warm and ready to go in the winter months. It starts up fast and from a fair amount of distance.

Works very well in my '06 Scion xA. The response is not as quick as OEM openers, but this minor issue is not of impact because of the range. When paired with an upgraded remote. I like the remote start so that I am not putting wear on my key to start the car. The phone app works very well from a distance for opening and closing the doors. I recommend getting the upgraded fob rather than use the one included fob.

I enjoy using this, especially in the winter when I can warm up my car without having to go outside. Just make sure you set your desired temperature before turning off the vehicle during the last trip. Also, a helpful hint is to purchase the upgrade version of the remote.

Ive had this Viper auto start for three years now and love it , I just ordered the same one for my daughter's jeep . Great price and having the installation included was a no brainer . Great product for the price.

It does it's job but the worker at the installation center didn't take a picture of the identification numbers on the device so I can hook it up to my phone. So now i have to unlock the car with the key instead of the fob.

This is such an amazing device, I didn’t think it was possible to put it on a diesel truck , I have a ford f450 stakebed diesel and I have to let it warm up for at least 15 for it to run good so I have to go turn it on and wait , which I hated but now with remote start is super amazing and my truck is not power but the technicians were also able to add alarm with same product. So I can turn it on with remote start and not worry of theft

Great product and awesome range in the remote. Also allows me to use my factory key fob hitting lock unlock and lock. I would like to say I had this installed at Best Buy and the tech that installed it was the best I have seen. He was very kind and informative and even printed out a sheet for my future radio upgrade of parts and labor for the next install.

My car did not have a remote car starter factory installed. Two years ago, I finally sold my late husbands car and used part of the money to purchase a remote car starter. Because I had the tech plan in my records, the store called advising me I was eligible for the upgraded model for the same price. I jumped on it and have been in love with a wonderful piece of technology. This past winter was one of the worst that was ever experienced and my car was parked outside. I was able to start my car from the window and let it warm up. Even when the temps were sub-zero, this car starter cracked over and started without any issues. Do recommend that you leave the heater and/or A/C turned on when you leave the car. It works much better to warm th car up. Recommend this highly for any car that does not have a remote car starter, especially if you live in an area with extreme temps.

Remote start worked exactly as advertised. Comes with a single remote but the the Best Buy tech was able to program the car manufacturer's remote to work with the device. The VIPER remote start has great range and could be started at a distance even while in the house. Great product.
