Works just fine. I had an older version that had just one slot, and used it often to copy data from hard drives that were in computer systems that no longer worked properly. I lent that older system to a friend who never returned it to me. This replacement has already been used 3 times to save data.

I needed something to put all my data together from older hard drives. This is plug and play, fairly quick and just works.

Easy to use but bulky. This product is good for the price point as well.

Super easy to connect. Drives slide in and out easily. Great for recovering data from drive.

This docking station has saved me many hours of not having to open cases and swap drives. It is quick and effective. Also has a USB slot on the side. Connects 3 items at once. Awesomely fast.

I've had this for for 1.5 years and it works as good as the day I got it. Everyone needs to attach a laptop or desktop hard drive via USB every now and then, and for a lower price than many others, this does it easily.

A nice product to offer, but I'm not an expert so it turned out to be something I couldn't use. Therefore I had to return, but that was due to my lack of expertise NOT because anything was wrong with product!! Unfortunately this product nor the Geek Squad's 3-day estimate of time to resolve my issue worked well for me.

These drives do work pretty well as long as you have them plugged into a USB 3 port. The speed is around what you would expect transferring data from one disc inside of this device to another disk inside of the device. Little over 200 Mbps. Transferring data from this device to the hard drive on your computer was slower for me. Max of 100 Mbps but on average 75. My problem with this device is it does nothing for cooling. So my drives can get too warm. That's okay if you're not using this for long-term use.

Excellent device. I needed to transfer files from old internal hard drives and didn't feel like installing them in a new machine to do so, this worked perfectly. It loads up each partition of the hard drive plugged in and shows them like a flash drive. The only issue I have with it is that when you plug in a drive, it doesn't feel like it makes a secure connection even though it does and there is some wiggling of the drive that makes it feel like you could easily damage the sata/power connection, this is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars.

I brought this to save the files off a laptop that was dying, I simply took the HD out the laptop , put it in the docking station, and dragged and dropped the files I choose to keep. Easy peasy ! Simple to set up and use

Item worked as directed. Worked for what I needed it for.

Connected to my newer laptop easily. Having both drive sizes capable of being connected thru this dock was excellent. I pulled old documents, records, and other files from hard drives out of machines that could never boot up again. Recovering data was fairly quick, limited by the machine the dock is connecting with. High levels of encryption on old drives may present an issue accessing files. On my old computers, I didn’t use more than the encryption levels installed as part of the more protected operating systems. I accessed the old drives with little trouble. Not sure if it’s due to my newer machine having even higher level of encryption than the old machines?

I had hard drives pulled from 2 different laptops that were no longer functional. This was a super easy way to pull all the files from those hard drives without having to worry about getting the old laptops running again.

Does exactly what it says. Plug any standard drive into it. Great for reclaiming data from all your old hard drives and SSDs.

My desktop crashed and I needed something where I can transfer data from my SATA hard drives to my laptop and backup external drive. Not only could I hook up one, but I can hook up two at the same time. Transferring 40gb of data in only an hour.

It worked, old HD transferred to new computer. Low price.

I needed this to recover a drive from a computer that crashed. It came right up in Windows 10 with no problem and did the trick. Better, in my opinion, than the hard enclosures that require a screwdriver and separate cables. This just works!

Exactly as advertised. Suggestion: If your PC crashes and/or doesn't turn back on, consider getting this before stressing about whether or not the pros can recover your data. 2 slots to fit a combination of internal hard disk drives AND solid state drives. Just open up your non-working pc. Disconnect the storage drives. Pop them into this device. Connect the USB cable into a working pc. Plug in the power cable, turn it on, and viola! Access to your data. This is also suitable if you just want to add your internal HDD and SSD to a pc for extra storage
