It does get the ice on the back which is easy enough to get off with the scraper that it comes with. Only downside is the the freezer thaws itself or something and my frozen items get melted like ice cream and then it refreezes. But I do have the temp at 6 so could be why.

Best mini fridge I ever brought.

I must say this is best investment I have made this year. It keeps everything cold a bit to cold. A bottle of water freezes in 2 hrs or less. A great buy with no regrets!!
